This archive is built with respect for the fact that you come here for yourself. We collect the minimum — only what the functionality actually requires. Below is the exact list.
What we collect
Email address — only if you voluntarily enter it in the subscription form at the end of an article. There is no other case. We do not buy lists, do not scrape social networks, do not store addresses from correspondence.
Data stored in your browser (localStorage) — kept on your device, never sent to us:
- kliphoth_init_v1 — your Qlipha (if you completed the initiation rite) and/or a "rite skipped" flag. What is stored: qlipha name, hebrew spelling, birth zodiac sign. The birth date itself is not stored — it is used only to compute the qlipha and discarded immediately after the reveal.
- kliphot_progress_v1 — how many unique pages of the archive you have opened + how many days in a row you visit (streak).
- kliphot_last — the last opened page (not currently used in the UI, reserved for a future "continue reading" feature).
- luria_seen — a flag that you have seen the Lurianic prologue on the Tree page.
All of this you can erase in a single motion: clear localStorage in your browser's DevTools (Application → Storage → Clear site data), or click the ↻ button in the badge in the top-right corner and confirm the reset.
What we do not collect
- Real name, surname, patronymic
- Date of birth (in the qlipha calculator form — used only for the calculation and discarded)
- Address, phone number, documents
- Financial information (cards, wallets)
- Third-party cookies (advertising, tracking pixels, remarketing)
Where your email goes
The subscription form uses Formspree. Your email is delivered to the archive's author and stored in a secured mailbox. Formspree is a US-based service; their own policy: formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.
We never pass your email to third parties. We do not sell it. We do not use it for anything except delivering issues.
Right to erasure
At any time, message us on Telegram @qliphoth_archive with the subject "erase me" — your email is removed within 7 days. A confirmation comes back.
The data in your browser (localStorage) is erased only by you — we have no access to it.
Analytics
We use GoatCounter — a privacy-friendly analytics without cookies and without user identification. No personal data is collected. Tracked only: page URL, general browser type (Chrome/Safari/Firefox), general country (via IP, without storing the IP itself), referer (where you came from).
All data is stored by GoatCounter, not by us and not by Google/Facebook/Yandex. Their policy: goatcounter.com/privacy.
To opt out — install a tracker-blocking extension (uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger) or use Firefox with Enhanced Tracking Protection enabled. GoatCounter respects Do Not Track.
Children
The archive contains material for an adult audience (18+): kabbalistic demonology, esoterica, magical practices. Nothing criminal, nothing pornographic — but serious. If you are under 18, this archive is not for you.
Changes
If the policy changes substantially (a new data processor, a new type of data collected) — subscribers will be notified and the date below updated. Minor edits (typos, wording clarifications) — without notification.
